Reading Club

Reading Club is a free club run by Mrs Jacques on a Monday lunchtime 12.30-1.00. It is open to children from all year groups and there is no commitment to attending regularly. They meet in the library and will be given the opportunity to have quiet reading time, either to enjoy a book from home, or to access the great selection that the library has to offer.

Mrs Butler and Mrs Clements run our popular school choir. We meet every Monday lunchtime at 12.30p.m. after the children have eaten their lunch.

It is free to join and is open to all children from year 1 to year 6, no auditions are required, everyone is welcome. We currently have approximately 70 children attending but this does not mean we are full. New children are welcome to join at the start of each new term.

Mrs Dear runs Chess Club on Tuesday lunchtimes 12.00-12.30.

Chess club is free and is open to children in years 3-6.

Children need to know how to play chess before joining. It is an opportunity to play matches against their peers and take part in tournaments.
