Fundraising
Here’s what we have helped to fundraise for last school year:
- Gardening club £200
- Help towards costs of school trips £400
- New computer for IT suite £230
- Nativity costumes £28
As a parent you are automatically a member of FOS and we would love you to participate in whatever level you can. We organize a range of events throughout the year to raise funds for the school. We always welcome new ideas and suggestions. If you are unable to commit to committee meetings but would like to volunteer to help with events, we’d love to hear from you. We would love to build on our list of helpers, as we can’t run events if we don’t have enough people to help. We have regular updates in the Harestock Herald so look out for us in the next newsletter.
We always need volunteers to:

Serve refreshments at fundraising events

Help set up an event/ tidy away after an event

Run a stall

Make cakes
-
Help promote events through social media

Offer new skills to benefit the school community

Donate prizes

Be responsible for entrance money…and the list goes on!

School Pond Fundraising
Last year our focus was on raising money for the school pond to be refurbished. The funds have been raised and work will be starting soon!
